My family
Family holds immense importance in my life, shaping every decision I make. It is my heartfelt desire that my children grow up to embody traits of humility, gratitude, and kindness, while fearlessly chasing after their aspirations to discover true contentment.
I eagerly anticipate creating countless cherished memories with my beloved wife by exploring new adventures, sharing laughter, and supporting each other through life's ups and downs.
Serving in the community
Growing up in the public housing Heartland shaped my values and sense of belonging. The tight-knit neighborhood inspired me to support and connect with others. Over three decades, I have been leading initiatives to enhance diversity and community bonds.
Mental Wellbeing
At Red Cross Youth Singapore, I focus on encouraging others to join in helping people in need. I lead the Human Capital Development team, where I coach and support mental health. I am trained to teach the Physiological First Aid (PFA) course to equip others with skills to provide crucial help during emergencies.
Life long learning
Through challenges as a manager, I learned leading over managing. Mistakes enhanced leadership skills, prompting the pursuit of a Master's in Human Capital Leadership at 47. Now beyond 50, studying for a Master's in Boundary Crossing and Leadership, scheduled for completion in 2024. I aim to inspire my children to value lifelong learning in education, career, and personal growth.
