In a study, scientists watched 30 black ants to see how they work together. Most ants did tasks like cleaning and carrying food, but a few ants seemed lazy.

Surprisingly, when food was scarce, the hardworking ants struggled, and the so-called "lazy ants" found a new food source.

It turns out the "lazy ants" weren't lazy but spent their time planning.
